The Cancer Crusher Car....

.

If any of you know my family, you know they are very involved with the Demo Derbies up in Iron River, Michigan.   And you also know my brotherinlaw, Fuzz Andersen is battling Stage 4 Bone Cancer.  He just got back from a rigorous round of 6 weeks of radiation and chemo.  He is doing great and recovering well.

His son, my nephew, Christopher has taken on the role of being the demo derby car driver.  This year he is doing something special.  His demo derby car will be a tribute to his dad's battle.  Sponsors can give a donation and write on a ribbon the name of person in their lives who has been touched by cancer.

My parents painted the car .... and the quotes on the front and back bumper were my idea...

Good Luck Tohper in the Demo Derby this weekend ....

  3. What a great idea,as you know I lost my younger brother Dec 31st to colon cancer, give your brothers son my e-mail addres and he can send me an address where I can send him a donation for his car, I see he already has a colon ribbon so I can just help him with something. I hope Fuzz has better luck than our rick did, we will keep him in our prayers and light a candle for him. Be safe out there Sam & Donna.

  4. I wish him well in the Derby, and I hope he gets a lot of donations.
