HAPPY NEWS ... and over 101,000 views!

Our son Dan called us last night, with a huge smile in his voice.... yes, he and his lovely wife Heather are expecting again!   Wheeeeee    They heard the heartbeat, and she is 10 weeks along, due date in April...

So our three grandkids will soon number FOUR!

Little Allegra chattered to me on the phone, babbling about BAYBEE, MOMMY, and SISTER.... can you tell she is excited too?   She was adorned in her Big Sister shirt for the evening....

Allegra will be 2 in December, so just the right age to be a good helper girl for the new baby sibling.

The cousins are happy to know there is another on the way!
I am sure there is enough room for another cousin to join in---

And now for the other part of my title:

Wow, I have had over 101,000 page views on my blog!  Can you believe it?     and there are almost 200 regular followers!

That means there are people out there that are actually interested in what I am saying?
Seeing the pics I am posting,
hearing about our camping trips,
learning about our motorhome projects,
catching up with our family and grandkids,
and all my fiber fun loomy stuff?

That is just mind boggling to me.

Thank you so much for tuning back in each for each new post and reading about our lives!!!

Soooo I have been tossing around the idea of putting Google Adsense Ads on my page to earn some income.  Other RVers use the Adsense program to bring in a few dollars each month.   The ads don't take up a lot of space on the page, just three ads along the side or across the bottom.  I read about other RVers who have a nice little check that comes each month from carrying the ads on their blogs.

As many of you know, Steve's take home pay has been severely reduced by our recent Governor's antics here in the state of Wisconsin.   If putting these ads on my blog will bring in a few bucks to help with our diesel costs, it will allow us to keep on camping more often.  More camping = more fun blog stuff to write about!

Adsense ads will start to appear on my blog in a week or so.  They are supposed to be geared to the content in the post, so they may be about campgrounds, rv parts, knitting yarn, children's products, who knows?

By agreement, I am not allowed to ask you to click on them once they appear, but if you find any of the ads to be of interest, please click away and explore the advertiser's sites if you wish.  Each click earns a small amount of income for me, and you might find something you wanted to get more information on!

If you don't like the ads, just pass them on by and keep on reading my blog please?

Off  to the loom room, I am winding warps and preparing fabric for some rugs on order for Snap Snap Snap Paula and Mel.  The weather has cooled down considerably, and I smell Autumn in the air, along with smoke and eye-burning vapors being blown across Wisconsin from the big fires over in Minnesota. Let's hope the rain falls and they are extinguished before any further damage occurs.

Have a Happy Week folks!

  2. Personally, I think if you can make a little money through the use of Adsense, why not? No one has to click on them when they appear if not interested, but, if they are, they may help us "find that certain something", too. :)

  3. Congrats on the new grand baby to be! How exciting. Allegra will be such a good big sister, I am sure.

Good luck with the google adsense. It certainly does help, unfortunately we lost ours sometime back in the spring. Oh well!

  4. Congrats on the new grandbaby. That's always exciting. We ended up with 8 and I think they are all done!

Good luck with ad sense. It hasn't worked very well for me but then who knows.

We saw a lady working an antique spinning wheel yesterday at an exhibit and I thought of you. I will be blogging about it in a day or two.

  7. watch out those grand'uns make it harder to fulltime... my experience with adsense was that once we were getting a meaningful amount per month gOOGLE said we must be cheating and cut us off... good luck with them...
