Even in her weakened state, she was sure to get a present wrapped up for our granddaughter Allegra for her three year old birthday last weekend. To be so worried about her little great granddaughter at a time like this is just a testimony to her caring nature and kindness.
We had a wonderful time at the party, and got in a lot of hugs and kisses with the grandtots. I will let the photos speak for themselves:
Our home purchase is going along as planned... all is done and ready for closing. One of the sellers is out of the country till after Christmas, so we will not be closing on the purchase until then. In the meantime, we are trying to spend time with Steve's folks, and finishing up some more on my cabinets. I will post more pictures in the next blog.
We will be praying for you and your entire family.

ReplyDeleteThat first photo of Allegra is absolutely priceless!. So sorry about your mother in law. My daughter just lost her mom in law this week and it is devastating, even though she had a wonderful life and lived to be 90 years old. My thoughts are with you.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww...what a bunch of cuties...just adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your M-I-L...it's always hard dealing with a lose and even harder at the holidays. Will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Howdy Karen & Steve,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, for your losing your mother Steve, now we know why you grabbed Karen; they're twins... While m-i-ls are a wife's measuring stick it sounds like Karen's was a perfect fit..
We'll be praying for everyone's comfort and hoping for the 'best' for everyone!
Give m-i-l a big hug from us in Texas and tell her we'll 'see' her later....
Sending prayers for your entire family during this difficult time.
