Open Houses went good - video tour of our home for sale

We had a great day, with five more groups coming through our home.

One person asked us to make a video for their spouse to view from out of state, so they can get together on what features etc. they liked in our home.  So I shot this very very amateur video and put it up on Utube for them to view.  I made it public so I can link to it on my home page of my www.kareninthewoods.com website too.

Here is the link:   http://youtu.be/p-s-9ZFFXUk

and here is the embedded video that should lead you to Utube....

We are pooped and heading to bed.. my oh my what an exciting weekend!

  2. Awesome place. And the video (with the little floorplan snippets interspersed) makes it brilliantly simple to visualise. Did I miss the part where you said you also sold real estate?
Can't comment on the sound, since I often turn the sound off with Youtube.
    Nice job.

    1. Yup, Bob, I did sell real estate back in the 1990's when we lived in Green Bay. I held both a Sales and a Broker's license, also I was their Advertising Editor for the office and took care of all the print ads in the paper and Homes magazine (those freebies you see in the stores). I am not worried about the actual negotiation and purchase process and have a few sets of forms on hand. Our local title company is prepared to do our closing once we get a buyer to put themselves on paper.

  4. What a great video, and I would LOVE to have that house! I really liked the way you showed the floor plan before moving into an area, and the music is so tasteful and soothing. I wish you luck.

  7. Glad you had a good weekend especially with all the work you two have been putting into the house. I am sure that adding the video to Utube won't hurt either. Sure hope you get a bite on it quickly. You have a beautiful house for sure.

  9. Great job on the video Karen!

Nice music and I could feel the love. I am sure you are going to have a hard time leaving such a wonderful loving home.

However, after following your blog for a while now I know you will also enjoy the next phase of your life living in your motorhome. You definitely know where you are headed and are taking the necessary steps to get there.

    Wishing you all the best!
