Wisconsin couple's stolen motor home found intact in Vancouver

(remember that missing motorhome I posted about in my blog a few days ago?  well... it's been found!)

Police are crediting media coverage after a Wisconsin couple's stolen $100,000 motor home full of valuables and personal mementos was recovered late Thursday.
The couple's motor home was stolen from a Vancouver street overnight on Aug. 1, sometime between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m., from the 1800-block Francis Street.
An alert news watcher saw coverage of the theft on Thursday evening and noticed the motor home was similar to one parked in the 100-block N. Slocan Street.
Police were called and it was confirmed to be the one belonging to the U.S. couple, who are on an extended road trip and had sublet an apartment for the summer in Vancouver, the first stop on their journey.
The value of the home is more than $100,000, but it was the personal items inside the pair were most worried about losing.
"An inventory of the contents revealed that all of the valuable documents and personal papers thought to have been lost were in fact accounted for, and only a few material items were missing," said VPD spokeswoman Const. Jana McGuinness in a release Friday.
No suspects have been identified.

  4. I can only imagine the great feelings of relief these people must have had in finding out their rig & valuables were all intact. A rare happening in this day & age of cruel theft & senseless destruction.

She had purchased it for her shop to display fabric but it didn't work out for her. She paid 20.00 and will sell it for that.
